The Aravalli Hills Photography Expedition™ 2017

Rajasthan, India, September 2017

A Unique Photographic Journey to the Green Hills of Rajasthan

The Aravalli Hills Photography Expedition takes us to one of oldest mountain ranges in the world. Cutting across the state of Rajasthan from northeast to southwest, the Aravalli Range separates the arid expanse of the Great Thar Desert, from the plains of eastern Rajasthan. Some of the state’s oldest towns, including Pushkar and Udaipur, lie dotted along the foot of these ancient, eroded mountains, together with spectacular forts and palaces that testify to the region’s long history of foreign invasions.
